Armed robber’s picture taken during holdup at Escatawpa store

Sheriff’s investigators hope pictures from surveillance cameras help solve an armed robbery reported Monday at an Escatawpa store.

About 4:30 p.m., a man who stands about 6 feet tall held up Huntley’s, also known as Buff convenience store, on Mississippi 613. Armed with a gun, he took money from the cash register and left on foot, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said.
