Pass Christian Police are trying to identify the man in this photo, who is a suspect in a boat and kayak theft in late June.

Surveillance cameras filmed two boat thefts while a man put a kayak inside a jon boat and hauled them off with a pickup truck, police said.

And the truck had a Florida license plate that had been stolen from at vehicle at Island View Casino Resort.

The boats were in a gated storage yard on North Street, Police Chief Tim Hendricks said.

Security cameras filmed the thefts, giving police pictures of the suspect.

“We’re looking at other video to see how he got in the yard,” Hendricks said. “The man may have come in the yard behind someone who had a code.”

Both boats are camouflage-colored. The 15-foot Jon Boat is an aluminum flat-bottom boat with Yamaha outboard motor. The kayak is a 10-foot Bobcat. They were reported stolen June 29.

The suspect has a tattoo on his left arm that runs from his elbow to his wrist. The truck is a grayish blue Ford F150 or F250 with dark tinted-windows, FX4 stickers on the truck bed sides, foot rails and mudder tires.
