The Moss Point Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon, and is asking for the public’s help.

Around 2 p.m. July 15, officers responded to the area of Second and Frederick streets. According a press release from Moss Point Police, a suspect fired shots into an occupied vehicle and left the scene.

A suspect was later located and placed in custody, the press release said.
