A Louisiana man is behind bars in Harrison County after a traffic stop showed the vehicle the man was driving was reported stolen.
Gerrad Ervin Stanley, 41, of DeRidder, Louisiana, was stopped on County Farm Road in Gulfport on Friday. The he was in vehicle was reported stolen out of Georgia, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.
Several firearms were recovered in the vehicle, one of which was reported stolen out of Georgia.
He has been charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and one count of receiving stolen property.

His previous conviction was for burglary.
He is being held at the Harrison County jail on $200,000 bond set by Justice Judge Melvin Ray.
