Shots fired in a drive-by shooting at Three Rivers Road and Reservation Drive came from someone in a gold or tan vehicle, police said.

There were no injuries in the shooting Tuesday, but the victim’s vehicle was struck by bullets, Police Sgt. Joshua Bromen said.

The victim, described as a middle-aged man, told police he was sitting in a 2001 Chevy Suburban at 12:24 p.m. when a gold or tan sport utility vehicle was northbound on Three Rivers, Bromen said.

The man said someone “fired several shots in his direction, striking his vehicle,” Bromen said. “At this time, it does not appear to be a random act. It appears to stem from an incident that took place last night.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Gulfport Police Department at 228-868-5900 or give an anonymous tip to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898 or mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
