The Jackson Sheriff's Department is looking for a dark PT Cruiser, possibly navy blue, believed to be involved in a drive-by shooting reported at 9:14 p.m. Thursday on Washington Avenue in St. Martin, a busy thoroughfare that runs from Interstate 10 to downtown Ocean Springs.
A news release from the sheriff’s department says the PT Cruiser was headed west on Interstate 10 after the incident.
Department spokeswoman Marcia Hill said deputies found a red Ford F-150 against a palm tree on the east side of the Chevron station in St. Martin with a bullet hole in the driver’s side door. She said the truck was still in drive. Two people, who have not been identified, were believed to be inside the truck, the news release said.
No one was injured in the shooting. According to the investigator’s report, she said, two people were believed to be in the truck. Investigators are reviewing surveillance video from store. No one has come forward about the shooting.

Chevron manager James Downs said three people were on duty at the time of the shooting.
“It was a pretty wild situation,” Downs said Friday morning. “We’re all fine here. It’s business as usual.”
