Sean Malone, 47, was arrested Sunday by Biloxi police on a charge of aggravated domestic violence.

Police said they arrested a Biloxi man after he was seen striking a woman with his car and choking her while forcing her into the vehicle.

Sean Sherard Malone, 47, faces a charge of aggravated domestic assault.

Police arrested him Sunday after a driver heading to work witnessed the incident and reported it, Detective Nick Sonnier said.

The woman was walking in the 2700 block of Pass Road, Sonnier said.

Police found Malone and the woman at their residence on Fernwood Road. They live close to the area where the assault allegedly happened.

The woman had minor injuries but declined an offer of a medical checkup, Sonnier said.

Malone was held at the Harrison County jail. Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong set Malone’s bond at $50,000.

He had been arrested on the same felony charge in 2013. A Harrison County grand jury found insufficient evidence to indict him, the jail docket shows.
