Vancleave man dies in motorcycle accident in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY -- A Vancleave man died Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle, ran off the road and hit an embankment, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said.

Joseph A. Brejcak, 29, of the 8400 block of Seaman Road, died at the scene.

Ezell said Brejcak crashed about 12:05 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses said he was driving fast and trying to pass a vehicle when he wrecked.

The investigation is ongoing.

Jackson County deputies, Acadian Ambulance and firefighters with the Old Fort Bayou Fire Department responded.
