Campaign on a roll to give Ocean Springs kids bikes for Christmas

A campaign to raise money for 125 bicycles for Ocean Springs kids in now under way.

This is the third year Kris Kwitszky and Tim Wold have asked the community to get behind their drive to make sure kids have bikes for Christmas.

A sign-up board with room for 125 donor names is in place at Kwitsky's Dugout at 1025 Government St. in Ocean Springs.

Wold said the local Wal-Mart will work with them and when the donation board is filled, "We guarantee 125 bikes."

Those who want to donate can stop at Kwitszky's or call Wold at 323-0399.

A steak dinner for donors will be held Dec. 18 and the kids, who are selected by Ocean Springs teachers, will pick up their bikes on Dec. 19.
