The funeral service for Keith Joseph Jr. and Keith Joseph Sr. is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday at Union Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior the funeral at the church. The burial will take place in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
The two men were killed in a car accident near Leakesville in Greene County just before 3 p.m. Friday as they traveled to attend the Pascagoula-Gautier football game in Pascagoula.
Keith Jr., 18, was in his freshman year as a member of the Mississippi State football team. He attended Gautier in his first two years of high school before transferring to Pascagoula prior to his junior season.
He signed with the Bulldogs in February and was sitting out this season at MSU in order to receive a redshirt.
Keith Sr., 44, was also a star football player at Pascagoula and Mississippi State. He was a member of the 1987 Class 5A state championship team at Pascagoula and played from 1989-92 at MSU, where he ranks 10th in school history with 14 sacks.
Mississippi State is scheduled to hold a memorial service for the two men at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville.
A moment of silence will be held during Saturday's Mississippi State-Alabama game in Starkville and the MSU football team will wear an "MJ" decal in honor of the two men.
