Timeline for Lake George proposal

Wednesday: 10 a.m. in room 216, second floor of the state Capitol building, the Senate Ports and Marine Resource Committee will hear presentations from stakeholders on both sides of the Lake George proposal and look at what the state has spent on the project.

Nov. 4: End of the official comment period for the Corps of Engineers permit application for Lake George proposal.

Nov. 16: 4 to 6:30 p.m., open house in Vancleave at the county HUD building on Ballpark Road. Sponsored by the Jackson County Board of Supervisors
