BILOXI – A Biloxi man wanted by police on charges of kidnapping and simple domestic assault was taken into custody by federal marshals Thursday, officials said.
Warren John Ronsonet Jr., 46, fled the scene March 24 before authorities arrived at a location in the 1600 block of Irish Hill Drive to investigate a report of domestic assault, Sgt. Christopher De Back said.
Police determined the 28-year-old female victim was held against her will for a period of time and assaulted. She sustained minor injuries during the assault, he said. Ronsonet is the father of the victim’s child, De Back said.
In March, Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set Ronsonet’s bond at $100,000 for the kidnapping and $500 for the assault.
