Pascagoula man in critical condition after robbery, shooting

A Pascagoula man shot in an armed robbery and assault Wednesday is in critical condition at Singing River Hospital, according to Pascagoula Police Lt. Davy Davis.

Mark Harlon Watkins, 40, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest in an 11:45 p.m. robbery Wednesday at the Regency Woods apartment complex on Robinhood Drive, Davis said. At the time of the shooting, Watkins was at the complex visiting a girlfriend.
