Former officer under $150,000 bond on child porn charges

A county court judge this morning set $150,000 bond for former Ocean Springs police officer Lee Leonard, 46, in a child pornography case.

County Judge T. Larry Wilson set bond at $25,000 for each of the six counts of child pornography possession against Leonard, who was arrested Tuesday night.

He will be held in protective custody at an undisclosed location.

He resigned Oct. 14 from the Ocean Springs Police Department amid an internal investigation.
