Gautier police arrested a suspect Wednesday night in connection with a robbery last week of a U.S. 90 gas station.
Police, with assistance from the Pascagoula Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriffs Department, served an armed robbery and aggravated assault warrant to 27-year-old Pharse Antonio Pickens.
He was arrested at Monaco Lake Apartments on Wednesday, where he was apprehended without incident. Pickens is being held at the Jackson County jail under a $200,000 bond.
The robbery occurred at the Fastrac Exxon on U.S. 90 at Ladnier Road on Friday.
At approximately 8:40 p.m., a black male entered the store and forced the clerk, a 22-year-old female, to give him the money from the register, police said. The clerk allegedly then shot the clerk. The man left the store with undetermined amount of money.
