Police investigate Pascagoula man's death as homicide

Pascagoula Police this morning are investigating the early-morning death of a local businessman as a homicide.

Police say Johnny McArthur Bullock, 67, owner of Bullock's Kennels, was found dead in his van about 3 a.m. after it crashed into a power pole guide wire.

A resident in the area of the 2500 block of Martin Road called police after hearing a loud crash. Officers found Bullock's Chevrolet Astro on the guide wire with Bullock in the driver's seat. He was slumped over and his seatbelt was still engaged. Bullock was dead, police said.

The department is investigating the death as a homicide.
