Threatening note found at Ingalls, but work not affected, company says
Operations continued as normal at Ingalls Shipbuilding as authorities investigated a threatening note found Thursday morning, the company said.
Pascagoula Police Chief Terry Scott said the note threatened a shooting. It was found in a bathroom with a bullet, he said.
The company said there was “no known ongoing threat” by noon.
“Ingalls continues to maintain an enhanced security presence across the shipyard out of an abundance of caution,” a company statement said.
