Coroner identifies victim of head-on collision on Mississippi Coast
One person died after two cars collided Sunday afternoon in Gautier, police said.
The head-on collision happened on Old Spanish Trail between Westlane and Shell Landing Boulevard.
The crash killed Chase Andrew Snow, 39, of Chunchula, Alabama, Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd Jr. said. Snow died at the scene.
Gautier Police Chief David Bever said the crash happened after Snow drifted into the opposite lane. The other driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
