South MS woman hit and killed by car on Highway 613, authorities say
A woman walking on Highway 613 in Jackson County was hit and killed by a car Tuesday night, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 11:30 p.m. The Mississippi Highway Patrol said a 2012 Nissan Juke was driving north when it hit Alicia Campbell, 46, of Moss Point.
Campbell died at the scene. The crash is under investigation and the Highway Patrol did not release more information.
