Two drivers, both Jackson County men, killed in wrong-way crash on Highway 63
Two Jackson County men were killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday night.
Curtis Levell Price, was driving his 2012 Buick north in the southbound lane of Highway 63, just south of the George County border, when he struck Jason Scott Clark, who was heading south in a Ford F-150 pickup, according to a news release from the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
MHP responded at the scene of the crash around 9:30 p.m.
Both men died on the scene. There were no passengers in either car.
Clark was 25 years old and had just moved to Lucedale from Pascagoula, Jackson County coroner Bruce Lynd Jr. told the Sun Herald.
Price, 56, was also a Pascagoula native residing in Lucedale.
A toxicology report is pending, and the Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
