At least 1 person is dead after fatal crash on I-10 near Ocean Springs
At least one person is dead after a fatal crash on Interstate 10 near Ocean Springs, Mississippi Highway Patrol said in a tweet Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on I-10 eastbound in Jackson County near the 50-mile marker.
State troopers are at the scene.
Drivers should expect congestion and delays near the area for about an hour, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said. Two lanes of eastbound travel were open at 10 a.m., and one lane was still blocked.
