It’s been three years since Desmond Moore left his mother’s home for a half-mile walk to meet friends at a Pizza Hut on Ladnier Road.
He was last seen on Aug. 30, 2014.
Gautier police officials are again asking the public to come forward with any information.
Moore was 24 at the time and always stayed in contact with his mother, Delaina Moore told the Sun Herald about a week after her son disappeared. She and friends handed out flyers and Gautier police and Jackson County deputies were on the lookout for him.
“It’s a welfare concern,” Gautier Police Capt. Scott Wilson said.
“There wasn’t much to go on at the time to indicate foul play and we still have nothing to show that.”
He is 5-foot-8, weighed 150 pounds and wore his shoulder-length hair in dreadlocks.
Wilson and Police Lt. Jerry Killingsworth are trying to find out what happened to Moore.
