Coroner identifies woman killed on Pascagoula tracks
Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus has identified a woman killed Thursday on the CSX railroad tracks as Miesha Kuantan, 43.
Kuantan was walking on the railroad tracks at 14th Street when the train hit her.
Witnesses reported the engineer sounded the horn at least three times, Broadus said, but the woman never tried to get out of the way.
Broadus released the name after family members were located and notified. It is unclear where Kuantan lived.
