A Chevrolet Suburban pulling a trailer loaded with a Porsche caught fire at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 10.
The SUV was fully involved when the police and fire officials arrived, said Biloxi Fire Department Capt. Michelle Crowley. When the fire was extinguished, the SUV was destroyed and the luxury car inside the trailer had minimal damage, she said.
The driver was from out of state and there were no injuries, Crowley said.
The fire occurred in the westbound land of I-10 at mile marker 41 at Woolmarket.
Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan captured video of the fire.
