Three fires kept Harrison County fire units busy Tuesday night.
The D’Iberville Fire Department, the Woolmarket Fire Department and Harrison County Fire Services responded to a report of a camper trailer fire on Lamey Bridge Road about 6:30 p.m. One person was treated for smoke inhalation by American Medical Response. The fire destroyed the trailer, Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said.
Shortly after firefighters brought the fire under control, two fires were reported on Longview Road north of Long Beach. Firefighters battled a large storage shed and workshop fire, preventing it from damaging a home on the property, Sullivan said.
Firefighters also responded to a house fire on Longview Road that was the result of lightning. Damage was minor, Sullivan said.
Harrison County Fire Services, the Lizana Fire Department, the Long Beach Fire Department and the Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center Department responded to the Longview Road fires.
