Tulane University officials said they need to expand and they are interested in the building that housed the former Gulfport Library.
Representatives from the university appeared before the Harrison County Board of Supervisors on Monday to ask about the building.
Supervisors said Tulane will have to make a written proposal as required by the agreement the county signed with local, state and federal agencies.
