One person is injured after a car-train crash at the Rodenberg Avenue crossing, Biloxi police say.
A car traveling north at the crossing failed to stop and collided with a westbound train, police Maj. Christopher De Back said.
There were three people in the car at the time of the crash. One person was injured and sent to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
De Back said the railroad crossing at Rodenberg Avenue does not have a crossing arm.
This is the second accident involving a train on the Coast this week after a Pass Christian man was killed on Thursday.
The accident is a developing story and the Sun Herald will update as more information becomes available.
