Ben Higgins broke Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher's heart on the final episode of season 20 of "The Bachelor," but JoJo is back and looking for love. This time she's in the driver's seat -- and she may fall head over heels for a man originally from Bay St. Louis.
Fletcher is the star of season 12 of "The Bachelorette" on ABC, and Nicholas Benvenutti, known on the show as "Nick B," is a contestant vying to steal her heart and get the final rose.
Benvenutti, 33, is an electrical engineer living in Ft. Lauderdale, according to ABC's website. But Tish Williams, director of the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, said Nick B is a local boy. She said his parents live in a home on North Beach Boulevard in Bay St. Louis, and Benvenutti grew up in Hancock County.
"He comes from such a nice family," Williams said. "They're just good people. The Benvenuttis have been here for generations."

Williams said Trapani's Eatery in Bay St. Louis will stream episodes of this season of "The Bachelorette" on Monday nights. Williams said the restaurant owners are planning on being "Bachelorette Headquarters" and will have drink specials during the screenings of the show.
"I think it's fun that somebody from our hometown is on 'The Bachelorette,'" Williams said. Benvenutti may live in Florida, but Williams said he comes home to the Bay often to spend time with his family.
The season premiere of "The Bachelorette" will be at 8 p.m. Monday and ABC has already released a small spoiler alert: Benvenutti greets Fletcher for the first time wearing a Santa Claus suit.
