Hope Haven holds masquerade ball

Hope Haven held its inaugural Halloween Masquerade Ball with many costumed guests, including, pictured: Lorraine Werner, Hope Haven program manager; Rhonda Sherwin, Hope Haven board president; and PJ Knight. Jerry and Dawn Klos of Waveland were crowned king and queen and will rule as Hope Haven royalty until next year's event. Warran Automotive won first place in the pumpkin decorating contest, followed second by Hairworks, and third place by A&E Electric. Hope Haven is a nonprofit that provides services to the families and children in South Mississippi, including helping children who are aging out of foster care to become successful young adults. Hope Haven also provides proactive education to adults on how to recognize, respond and react to children who are victims of physical, sexual and mental abuse.
