Motorcyclist dies in crash with SUV in Waveland, police say
A person died Friday afternoon in a fatal vehicle accident in Hancock County.
Waveland police officers responded to a crash around 12:51 p.m. at U.S. 90 and old Spanish Trail, according to a press release.
Officers found a SUV had collided with a motorcycle in the eastbound lane of U.S. 90.
Witnesses said the motorcycle was in the eastbound lane and the SUV was coming off of Old Spanish Trail when the motorcycle hit the left side of the SUV.
The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital by AMR, while the motorcycle rider died at the scene, police said.
The accident is still under investigation.
