Party bus fire on I-10 in Hancock County halts traffic
Both lanes of eastbound traffic at the 8-mile marker on Interstate 10 in Hancock County are closed Sunday afternoon after a party bus caught fire, officials said.
The cause of the fire isn't known yet, said Mississippi Highway Patrol Cpl. Chase Elkins.
One person was on the party bus, but he was able to escape without injury, Elkins said.
Elkins said the interstate should be open by 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The incident is under investigation.
