George County Sheriff's Department seeking missing teen

Authorities are searching for a George County teenager who has been missing since Tuesday.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Shonna Pierce said Cheyenne Marie Rhymes, 16, ran away from her home Tuesday.

She is believed to be accompanied by Dakota McCorquodale, 20, originally of Texas, who has been living in George County since May, Pierce said.

Rhymes and McCorquodale may be heading toward Texas.

Anyone with any information on Rhymes' disappearance is asked to call the George County Sheriff's Department at 601-947-4811.
