What’s on tap for Labor Day weekend on the Coast
Music, art and even mud are on the schedule of events across South Mississippi for Labor Day weekend:
Friday: Art on the Rue, downtown Biloxi Block Party, 5-8 p.m. at Rue Magnolia Art District. Free.
Friday: First Fridays at Lazy Magnolia Brewing Co., Kiln, 5-8 p.m.
Friday: Kenny G performs at 8 p.m. at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.
Friday: The Temptations and The Four Tops perform at 8 p.m., IP Casino Resort.
Saturday: Bay St. Louis Masonic Lodge Classic Car & Bike Show, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Old Town.
Saturday: Ocean Springs Art Walk, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., downtown.
Saturday: Ocean Springs Live free concert, 5 p.m., Rosetti Park. Blackwater Brass from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., Amanda Shaw from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Flow Tribe from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
Saturday: Professional boxing at Hard Rock Casino Biloxi, 7 p.m.
Saturday: Kenny Wayne Shephard at IP Casino Resort, 8 p.m.
Saturday: The Abney Effect at 13th Street Jazz Bistro, 2610 13th St., Gulfport, 9 p.m.
Sunday: Southern Soul Explosion, rhythm and blues event at Coast Coliseum, Biloxi, 6 p.m.
Friday-Monday: ATV Mudfest at Muddy Joe’s, Kiln. Tickets available for multiple days or for Sunday concert pass.
Friday-Monday: Bike the Beach at sites in Biloxi, Gulfport and Ocean Springs.
