Authorities this morning said speed was a factor Sunday night in a fatal crash Road that claimed the lives of two men.
Coroner Gary Hargrove identified them as Jason Jermyn, 40, of Biloxi, the driver of a Ford Thunderbird, and his passenger, Richard Kelly III, 28, of Gulfport.
Harrison County deputy sheriffs and emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident with injuries on Robinson Road near Fowler Avenue at 8:59 p.m. Sunday.
They found Jermyn dead on the ground, Hagrove said, and Kelly injured and strapped in a seat belt.
