Child who went missing in Biloxi found safe

An Endangered/Missing Child Alert for a 7-year-old who went missing in Biloxi has been canceled, officials said.

The Mississippi Department of Investigation issued the alert on Saturday for Billy Ray Gray IV. Later that night officials said he had been recovered safely.

No further information was immediately available.

Authorities initially said the child may be accompanied by his non-custodial father, 27-year-old Billy Ray Gray III.

The two were last seen about 3:45 Saturday afternoon walking in the 9000 block of Scott Street in Biloxi.
