Kress Building could be yours if you have a couple million to spare
Two years after its rebirth to an entertainment venue that once boasted sold out shows and iconic Coast art, the Kress Building in downtown Biloxi’s Vieux Marche is for sale.
The building has more than 25,000 square feet of space and comes with a sound and light system valued at more than $400,000, according to an online listing from Clauson Realty.
Chase Taylor and Nick Quave opened Kress Live in the summer of 2014. It was used as an entertainment venue that hosted concerts, A-list entertainment acts and local musicians.
The building has exposed brick walls and three levels of space to utilize.
In 2014, Taylor said it would take about $2 million to restore the Kress Building into what it is today. It’s listed on the market at $2.35 million.
