Businessman James Gill has been missing since Monday morning and officials are concerned about his welfare, Chief Deputy Don Bass said.
Gill, 49, and his wife, Robin, own Seafood & More in Bay St. Louis and C&K Waste Services in Pearl River, La.
Gill’s wife, who reported him missing Monday night, said he has severe asthma. He left their Bayside home without his medicine and his cellphone.
He’s been missing three days.
Gill was last seen Monday morning. His wife reported he left home about 7:30 a.m. to clean the deep-fryers at their Bay St. Louis business, but he never made it there, Bass said.
Surveillance footage at a Wal-Mart shows him buying gas that morning. He was driving his blue 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck. Its tag says #CKWaste.
“There’s been no activity on his debit card and we have no information at this time to suspect foul play, but it’s a welfare concern,” Bass said.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has asked for help to find Gill. He is 5-feet-11, weighs 238 pounds and has green eyes and wears glasses.
