A 76-year-old Vancleave man with medical problems disappeared two days ago after taking his and his daughter’s medications and medicines intended for animals from a locked room, Chief Deputy John Ledbetter said Friday.
Warren Cox needs insulin, has trouble walking and remembering things, and doesn’t drive, Ledbetter said.
Cox was described as 6 feet tall and about 240 pounds. He has hazel eyes, salt-and-pepper hair and a white mustache and beard.
He went missing from his home on Jim Ramsey Road.
His daughter said he kicked in her bedroom door while she was at work Wednesday and took assorted medicines, Ledbetter said.
What Cox was wearing when he left home isn’t known, Ledbetter said.
Anyone who sees or has seen Cox is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 228-769-3063.
