Ocean Springs Municipal Library, 525 Dewey Ave. Free. Anyone who has a new tablet or smartphone may sign up for Tech Days at libraries in the Jackson-George Regional Library System. This month, patrons can register for an appointment to receive one-on-one help with popular devices. Library system computer trainer Kim Harvey will show patrons how to connect with the library and use free services and materials and offer help with popular portable devices. St. Martin Public Library, 15004 Lemoyne Blvd. $3 materials fee. This series of lessons is designed for children and teens. Participants will build a solid foundation for stamp collecting beginning with terms and tools used in the hobby. Learn tips on what to do and not do. Learn how to create your own collection and find resources to help. Participants will take fun quizzes, play games and become stamp detectives. Memorial Hospital, 44th Ave., Gulfport . Memorial Cancer Services Support Team will hold a Cancer Support Group for current patients and caregivers in the Memorial Medical Office Building Atrium. Participants will meet the team and tour Memorial Cancer Center. Team members, including nurse navigators, dietitians, social services representatives, a lymphedema therapist, and financial assistance representatives will be available for questions.

Attend a panel on zombie preparedness, play some old-school Super Mario Bros., bring a solid-color shirt to bleach-dye and more. Pascagoula Public Library, 3214 Pascagoula St. Free. The Jackson County Historical and Genealogical Society will present “Using Newspapers for Genealogical Research” with Joyce A. Griffith. The program will help answer the following topics: where to find newspapers, what newspapers contain that are of genealogical value, how to cite a newspaper or a newspaper article, how to know if the information in an article is reliable, and how to analyze the information in an article for your genealogical research.
