Pokemon trainers hoping to catch Psyduck, Squirtle or the Charizard, the-most sought after of all of the Pokemon Go characters, will need to look somewhere other than the Biloxi Visitor’s Center.

But don’t worry, the “Poke-ban” is only temporary.

The City of Biloxi is asking that Pokemon trainers stay south of the Coast landmark until Sunday morning

According to the city’s Friday Facebook post, “Two weddings are scheduled at the Biloxi Visitors Center, one this evening and one Saturday evening. Both will be on the front lawn of the Visitors Center, directly north of the lighthouse. Since the Visitors Center has been rented for these two special occasions, please avoid gathering north of U.S. 90 this evening and Saturday. Please park in the public parking lot south of U.S., 90 so the bride and groom and their guests can enjoy special occasions. Thanks for your cooperation. ‪#pokemongo‬.”

Since the Pokemon Go app made its debut about a week ago, it has been downloaded about 7.5 million times in the U.S.

The Biloxi landmarks on U.S. Highway 90 have been filled with people who have downloaded the app and are hoping to catch Pokemon.

The app has become very popular in South Mississippi with Edgewater Mall hosting a Pokemon Go Happy Hour and Ocean Springs planning a Pokemon Go Crawl in August.
