Coast issued dense fog advisory

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a dense fog advisory for the three coastal counties in Mississippi until 8 a.m.

Heavy fog that reduces visibility to less than one-quarter mile is expected in the area and motorists are advised to slow down and use low-beam headlights while driving. Also, leave plenty of room ahead between your car and the car in front of you.

A 30 percent chance of rain comes with the fog through the morning, but forecasters expect that to move off by early afternoon and there may even be some sun by mid-afternoon.
