Man arrested as non-compliant sex offender

JACKSON COUNTY - Sheriff's investigators have arrested Joshua Nim Workman, 29, on a charge being a non-compliant sex offender, Sheriff Mike Byrd said this morning.

Workman, who was one of Jackson County's most wanted suspects, submitted a false address as his residence, the sheriff said.

Workman was convicted in August 2009 in Marion County, Fla., of two counts of lewd or lascivious battery involving minors between the age of 12 and 15.
