Former NFL and Southern Miss quarterback Brett Favre will hit the airwaves as a color analyst for his alma mater's game on Oct. 1 against Rice on CSS, ESPN is reporting
The game will be played at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg.
Favre played 20 seasons in the NFL, first with the Green Bay Packers and then with the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings before retring before this season.
He played four seasons at Southern Miss and was a Heisman Trophy candidate his senior year.
