Residents around South Mississippi are reporting rain and some wind but not much else in comments posted to the Sun Herald's Facebook site.
Melissa Bello is reporting that Whites Bayou is rising in Pearlington and she's moving things to higher ground.
Judy Morgan Light says there is moderate rain around Mississippi 53 and 603 in Necaise Crossing. "There are wind gusts occasionally, but not too bad. I just put up all the flower pots and lawn furniture, just in case."
Lynn Lindsey-Baker of Saucier is reporting so much rain, "my yard looks like a lake. It's raining very hard."
And Dan Harvala said it's pouring and windy over near the Gulfport-Biloxi line near Pass Road.
Doug Owens in Gautier says power is out in the Dolphin/Tradewinds area. Power crews are on scene to restore electricity.
Hubby Tahitian says winds are blowing pretty strongly in the St. Andrews area of Jackson County.
Linda Pitts said the ground was soaking up about 90 percent of the rain where she lives, but didn't give a location.
Liz Zimmerman reported from Waveland that the area around Nicholson Avenue was OK with no real damage or outages and no flooding.
It was just drizzling in St. Martin, according to Susan Cox, but the winds were gusting.
Ulrich Amos said there just some rain and wind in Lyman, just south of Mississippi 53 and Pamela Veselinovic said there was intermittent rain in Stone County.
