Municipal Judge P.J. Mauffray took about 10 minutes to order Jeremy Wayne Manieri's murder and grand larceny charges bound over to the grand jury this morning.
Manieri is accused of killing the Rev. Edward Everitt and stealing money and his car before taking his family on vacation to Florida.
Manieri claimed in an audio confession to Polk County, Fla., officials that he and the Houma, La., priest smoked marijuana and that the priest fondled him in the hours leading up to Everitt's death.
Manieri will remain in custody with the Mississippi Department of Corrections after being sentenced on a probation violation earlier this year.
