The National Weather Service is forecasting rain the rest of the day and easing off tonight, but more rain later in the week.
The rain will continue into the evening, but is expected to clear before midnight as the temperatures start to fall.
Forecasts call for 1 to 3 inches today, with 4 to 6 inches in some isolated areas.
The dense fog advisory remains in effect through 6 p.m. today along the Coast.

Look for sunshine on Wednesday and a high of 61 with a low of 42 Wednesday night.
Unfortunately, the rain returns on Thursday with a 20 percent change of precipitation that increases to 40 percent Thursday night and continues into Friday.
But that front should move out on Friday with a nice, if chilly, weekend ahead.
