The National Weather Service has cancelled the coastal flood watch that was in effect for Harrison County. Rupert Lacy, emergency management director for the county, sent out a notice Wednesday morning that flood stages for local rivers also has changed. The Tchoutacabouffa now is expected to crest at 10 feet by tonight. The current reading on the river is 2.5 feet. The Biloxi River is expected to crest at 13.5 feet by this afternoon. The current reading is 7.10 feet. Harrison County received less than 2.5 inches of rain from the low pressure system that moved through the area Tuesday.
