Gulfport woman arrested for possession of meth

OCEAN SPRINGS -- A Gulfport woman was jailed Sunday night on a drug charge, Ocean Springs Police Public Information Officer Michael Pol said.

Linda Marie Bigford, 36, was arrested shortly after a police officer saw her and two others sitting in a vehicle behind the U.S. 90 American Thrift Store about 11:45 p.m. Sunday. Police said they found two small plastic bags of meth on Bigford, along with a pipe. She was charged with possession of meth and taken to the Jackson County jail pending a bond hearing.
