Three accused of conspiring to cash bad checks at casinos

Three men arrested on forgery charges Thursday are accused of conspiring to cash invalid checks at South Mississippi casinos, the Biloxi Police Department said.

The suspects were identified as Willie Earl James, 48, James Avery Green, 49, and Dan Edward Keys, 55.

Police said James was charged with two counts of uttering forgery and one count of conspiracy. Green and Keys were charged with one count each of uttering forgery and conspiracy.The suspects, police said, conspired to cash bad checks at various casinos.

All three were taken to the Harrison County jail, where bonds for Green and Keys were set at $75,000 each. A $125,000 bond was set for James.
