OCEAN SPRINGS – A Moss Point man charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor is accused of allowing a runaway to stay overnight at his home, police said.
Milton T. Anderson, 46, of Lilly Circle, was arrested Thursday after police officers found the 16-year-old runaway at Anderson's home, Ocean Springs Police Officer Michael Pol said Friday.
The juvenile had been reported as possible runaway on Wednesday. Pol said police officers learned that Anderson had driven to Ocean Springs to pick up the teen to take the 16-year-old to the Moss Point home.
Police said they do not suspect Anderson of providing any alcohol or drugs to the minor. “You just don't take a juvenile home,” Pol said.
